Precise and perfectly regulated!

In combination with the Elektror Air Knife, blowers and side channel blowers generate a targeted and perfectly regulated air flow that is required in all kinds of application areas. Primarily in the areas of food technology and surface engineering, this air flow is used to blow off different media.



Reliably fixed at the right spot!

In systems that are used for the processing of wood, stone or textiles, it is of the highest importance that the materials are firmly fixed in place during processing.


For this purpose, Elektror blowers/ side channel blowers connected to the suction side generate a negative pressure that "grips" the material and thus ensures a stable position. The negative pressure can be distributed via several air nozzles, so that large surfaces can also be fixed without a problem. 



To make sure things don't blow up!

In more and more application areas, protecting blowers against explosions is an indispensable prerequisite. Numerous dusts and gases that are being conveyed are already in a highly explosive original state, while others develop this characteristic after being pre-mixed with additional media. Just a little spark can have unforeseeable and disastrous consequences.


Our ATEX blowers are designed precisely for such highly sensitive conditions. Aside from many other application areas, our ATEX blowers are in use in the chemical industry, in mills, biogas plants, landfills, sewage plants, flour storage facilities as well as food processing. They ensure the safe transport of explosive dusts and gases of all kinds. 



Nobody gets cold feet here!

With the help of a pre-switched heating unit, heated air (up to 230°C) can be conveyed directly through the blower. To guarantee a long lifecycle of the blower despite the increased temperature, we also offer special, heat-resistant models with temperature blocking.


This type of heating is used, for example, for heat-sealing and foil adhesion, for the accelerated drying of synthetic granules (and other materials), in foil extruders and for foil shrinking (e.g. in the food product and packaging industry).


Aeration & ventilation

Fresh air!

Elektror products are ideally suited to ventilate different premises, working areas and containers, as well as extract air from them. Usually fresh air is blown into areas in which the air is strongly polluted and the polluted air is extracted again through filters. Especially in areas subject to strong air pollution, e.g. lacquering facilities, welding areas, oil tanks, car repair shops etc., the air is continuously renewed in this way.

To clean polluted water and sludge, the included volatile hazardous substances are transferred into process air and thus removed. For this purpose electroplating baths, sedimentation tanks, wells etc. are aerated and ventilated with the help of Elektror products.

Not least the feeding of oxygen-rich air to accelerate natural processes is also a common application for our devices. Our products are also reliably used in, for example, composting systems and other decomposition processes.


By the way, next time you are in a whirlpool, think of us. In many cases, the pleasant bubbles are generated by an Elektror blower.



Conveying made easy!

Light dry bulk solids that are not abrasive and do not pose an explosion hazard, for example plastic refuse, feathers, various powder materials or even tobacco, can be transported directly through Elektror conveying blowers.

Larger and heavy goods such as synthetic granules, wood chips, wood pellets, grains, fine wood shavings and similar materials are conveyed indirectly. In this case, the transport doesn't take place through the blower, but the air flow impacts the material outside the device and sucks or blows it in the desired direction.


The cartridges in pneumatic delivery systems are also transported from A to B according to this principle.



Air cooled!

In contrast to cooling with water, cooling with air offers significant advantages in many areas. Cooling with air can take place directly, but is still contactless and does not generate vapours or waste water. There is no danger of mixing / polluting the cooled material with water or of damaging electronic components, for example.

By regulating the air flow, the exact duration of the cooling process can be adjusted to the application. If required, artificially cooled air can also be fed in.



To the last drop!

Before being used again, processed further or delivered, many materials and goods are subjected to a thorough cleaning. This cleaning usually takes place with water. (Under certain circumstances various cleaning products are added). After cleaning, any remaining water and cleaning products are removed using air.

In most applications, the drying takes place in a pressure operation, i.e. the water is blown off. Depending on the application, however, there is also the possibility of sucking off the water. In many cases, the blower or side channel blower used for drying is also combined with the AirKnife. An additional temperature control makes it possible to achieve an even more efficient and fast drying process.


The next time you are having lunch in a cafeteria, maybe your dishes and cutlery will have been dried with an Elektror blower.


Generating negative pressure

Lifting difficult loads made easy!

Elektror blowers and side channel blowers are the heart of many vacuum lifting tools. They generate the negative pressure that ensures the reliable fixing of the material.

What is enormously important here is the exact arrangement of the Elektror device to guarantee a safe hold of the loads to the suction base. Special attention must be paid to the air permeability and size of the material to be lifted, since even if there are any leakages (e.g. if the workpiece is smaller than the suction area) and negative pressure losses (e.g. with very air-permeable materials), there must still be enough holding power.


Depending on the size and design of the lifting device, differently shaped loads weighing up to 4t can be lifted vertically or horizontally using a vacuum.
