Street sweeper truck
Device without motor for external drive in a street sweeper truck. The blower sucks up the swept mixture of dust and water through a precipitator. It is powered by a hydraulic motor.
Drying of printing ink
High-pressure blowers operated with frequency converters (FC). Mounted on a special frame. They are used to dry the printing ink when printing cartons in printing machines. Electronic adjustment of air demand via the frequency converter.
Explosion-proof model in a biogas plant. The biogas is conveyed directly through the blowers from the biogas fermenter to the biogas storage facility for intermediate storage. To protect the devices against corrosion, the housing is equipped with a special protective coating.
Air cabinet for printing machines
This is where medium-pressure blowers are used to dry the printing ink in printing machines. The format of the air cabinet is "standardised" for the printing machine sector. Individual connections for the individual printing devices can be found outside of the cabinet.
Side channel blowers for overpressure or negative pressure on wine presses. The container is designed with a complete membrane. The mash is enveloped by the membrane and pressed against the juice channel with the pressure of the side channel blower. After every press operation, the membrane is retrieved by switching over the side channel blower and the mash for the next press operation. This press operation is repeated multiple times. To switch from pressure operation to suction operation, the motor of the side channel blower is reversed.
Medium-pressure blowers as combustion air blowers for industrial ovens. The blowers provide the combustion air in oil-heated industrial ovens in the forge of a large ironwork. Devices can be regulated via frequency converters (FU), so that the conveying air can be adjusted to the exact demand in the flame chamber.
High-performance test bench
Low-pressure blowers for the cooling of high-performance test bench motors. All simulations for the loads of axles, motors and transmission are carried out with these test bench motors. The motors are speed-controllable and have no cooling of their own, which is why they need to be cooled through blowers. The blowers must be very robust against oscillation loads, since they will need to handle fast load changes.
In industrial ovens, processes such as solution hardening, curing or pre-heating are carried out in recirculating air operation. Elektror blowers provide optimal temperature consistency within the oven and withstand conveying medium temperatures of up to 200 °C.
Maintenance of fire extinguishers
Mobile powder suction machine for the maintenance or filling of extinguishing powder for fire extinguishers. Single-stage side channel blowers with automatic reversing mechanism are used – in this case to increase pressure in sequence. Using negative pressure, the extinguishing powder is extracted from the fire extinguishers. The powder is loosened up in the container and under certain circumstances mixed with fresh powder. After this, by switching the automatic reversing mechanism, the powder is pumped back into the fire extinguisher. Strong suction performance by the blower as well as an exact switching of the automatic reversing mechanism are important here.
Welding smoke extraction
Eight roof fans (MAFR 560-8-4) ensure that the smoke generated during welding is not spread in the hall but extracted directly. The fans were adjusted to the existing pipe system and the openings in the roof. An additional specification was that the noise level was not allowed to exceed 68db(A).
Cooling of direct current motors
Low-pressure double blowers (2D 060) for the cooling of unventilated direct current motors. The cooling air is fed directly into the motor. The direct current motor is very compact and has a very high power density, which is why it generates a lot of heat. A lot of cooling air is required. That is why very compact double blowers are used.
Cooling of direct current motors
Low-pressure blowers (D 05 with fine filters) are used for the cooling of unventilated direct current motors. The cooling air is fed directly onto the coil ends and the bearings.
Pneumatic letter chute systems
A total of 96 Elektror side channel blowers (SD 7 FU) with frequency converter and automatic reversing mechanism (RAGZ 8) provide the necessary negative pressure and overpressure in a large pneumatic letter chute system in a hospital. When transporting blood samples, there is a risk that the blood plasma will separate. In such cases, a specific speed may not be exceeded. The speed control is handled via the frequency converters.
Two high-pressure blowers with V-belt pulley for external drive (HRD 7) generate the necessary negative pressure in a street sweeper to suck in the swept dust and dirt via a cyclone. The blowers are powered by a hydraulic motor.
Rotting hall air extraction
A large-volume high-pressure fan (CFH 400 D3) sucks the air out of a rotting hall and blows it back out into the open via a bio-filter. Since the rotting air is very aggressive, the resilience of the fan is adapted to the special requirements with a special surface treatment.
Waste air purification system
A blower of the RD-series as the "heart" of a waste air purification system. Since the conveying medium can reach up to 250°C, the motor is protected against overheating by a double temperature block.
Aeration of composting facility
To accelerate the rotting process in a composting facility, several high-pressure blowers with built-on frequency converters (HRD 65 FUK-100/7.5) inject fresh air in the composting material. Since the blower also comes into contact with the aggressive rotting gas, its resilience is enhanced with various adjustments.
