Recertification ISO 9001 and 14001 successfully completed

Since 1996 we are certified according to the requirements of a quality management system (DIN EN ISO 9001). Twelve years later, in 2008, we also established the environmental management system according to DIN EN ISO 14001.

Both certifications need to be confirmed periodically by an external institution. In order to fulfill these requirements there's a yearly repeating audit as well as a re-certification audit every three years.

In mid-March of this year our management and production once again were successfully re-certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 by DEKRA. As in previous years, without any deviations to the standard specifications. The auditors especially emphasized the very detailed and practically relevant system of key performances indexes, the ergonomic design of workplaces - especially in the production, the consistent use of quality tools, such as CIP, Kaizen and 5S as well as the sophisticated environmental and energy concepts in production and administration.

Jochen Bolzhauser, our Quality and Environmental Management Representative was very pleased with the extremely positive results: "Only if all employees and divisions also consider quality and environmental aspects in their daily business, it is possible to reach such a result. All of us here at Elektror can be proud of this performance. If we continue in this way and keep that really high motivation, we are well prepared for our customers' needs in the near and distant future."
