For two days the so-called M+E truck was visiting the Elektror Production Center Waghäusel. There local school classes got information about training and career opportunities in the metal and electric industry. A factory tour completed the event.
On December 4th and 5th the M+E InfoTruck stopped at Elektror airsystems in Waghäusel. Therefore Elektror invited several local school classes to present the students the range of professional training opportunities and the Production Center Waghäusel.
The program was diversified and interesting: First of all Elektror presented itself with some facts about the company and training possibilities. Therefore human resources employees as well as apprentices from Waghäusel were available to answer questions. After that the students tried out their skills: The truck provides different stations which cover the main tasks of professions in the metal and electric industry. In this way the kids could find out if they can handle the activities with the help of explanations on a tablet and if they are interested in this kind of exercises. Moreover the pupils got an insight in the production halls of the Elektror location. During a tour through the Production Center Waghäusel, Mr. Sand (Group Leader Production) showed the complete production process of an industrial fan to every school class. Finally, the students could visit the training workshop to get into conversations with apprentices or to produce their own key chain at the milling machine.
During these two days Elektror was pleased to welcome a lot of new interested faces at Waghäusel. Together with the great support of the employees of the truck two exciting days were organized.
