The ideal complement for blowers and side channel blowers! Put an end to the time-consuming in-house development of devices for achieving uniform air flow or air curtains. ELEKTROR AirKnives perfectly dose and direct the air flow in the required way and to the required spot.

 

Applications

ELEKTROR AirKnives create a laminar air curtain flow and are ideally suited for drying, cooling or air-cleaning of a wide range of products and components. AirKnives are particularly well suited for applications with wide conveying routes.

Sample applications:

Drying: removal of water or residual moisture from cans, bottles etc.
Cooling: of plastic products, metal components etc.
Cleaning: removal of production residues/shavings in machine components or similar.
Air-cleaning and blow-off: dust removal in packaging processes.

Features/Notes

  • Slot width adjustable between 1mm and 10mm
  • The number of connections depends on the required air speed at the slot, the slotwidth and the length of the AirKnives
  • We recommend two connections starting from a lenth of 600 mm
  • Individual slot lengths available on request

 

Optional extras are available on request.

 

The only parts that have to be acquired as options are those relating to individual installation situations, with the scope and quantity to be determined separately for each case. Needless to say, ELEKTROR AirKnife types and fans are perfectly adapted to each other. The maximum pressure increase in the Air Knife should not exceed 350 mbar. The device can be installed in different ways.
